Our commitment to sustainability: Installation of solar panels with support from European funds
At Los Arcos, we are firmly committed to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future. That’s why we have installed a photovoltaic self-consumption system consisting of 44 solar panels with a total capacity of 20 kWp, aiming to reduce our ecological footprint and improve the energy efficiency of our facilities. The total investment amounted to €22,331.80.
Thanks to this initiative, we will reduce our electricity consumption by nearly 50%, taking a decisive step toward energy self-sufficiency and sustainability.
This project has been funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU, through the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan and the Investment Plan for the Energy Transition of the Balearic Islands (PITEIB), within the framework of the aid program for SMEs. We have received €10,930.92 from the PITEIB program.
Through this initiative, we actively contribute to the energy transition of the Balearic Islands and the fight against climate change, reinforcing our commitment to responsible, innovative tourism aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals.
